Disney's Animal Kingdom News Round-Up for April 3: Construction Walls Aplenty
Limited Edition Pins Coming for 15th Anniversary: If you did not see our recent article on the new pins coming to celebrate the park’s anniversary click here for that info. Hopefully something besides pins will be available, but you never know.
Construction Walls Aplenty: Last week we told you about the walls going up around the Dawa Bar and bridge to Africa for the new Festival of the Lion King theater. But now we also have walls up in front of the Finding Nemo the Musical building as well as around the ice cream truck in Asia. Not exactly sure what they are, but my guess is we can look forward to many more of these walls with the new FastPass Plus project underway.
Somali Wild Ass the Latest Addition to the Animal Kingdom Lodge: Visitors to the Jambo House can now get a chance to see a rare and beautiful animal called the Somali Wild Ass. They are a wild relative of the domestic donkey, with zebra-style stripes along the bottom of the leg. These animals are some of only a few found in zoos and the species is critically endagered with perhaps less than a 1000 in the wild.
