Safari Mike; Waterbuck

It's Thursday, so that means Safari Mike checks back in to the Jambo Everyone home office from somewhere in the wild.  Today, he sends us a story about the waterbuck, a very thirsty specie of antelope found in sub-Sahara Africa.  (That's right, these guys are appropriately named.)

You'll find the herd of waterbuck at the Pembe Savanna at Kidani Village.  If you have never been to the Pembe, head towards the pool and look behind the Maji bar.  There you will find a smaller, separate savanna featuring animals you won't find on the resort's main savanna, including these impressive waterbucks.  During the day, there is almost always a cultural representative hanging out around there.  Have a chat, these folks are always a blast to talk with.
