Happy Tiger Day!

Well, truth be told World Tiger Day is actually Monday.  But for reasons passing understanding, Disney has chosen to celebrate it today.  But let's put the snark aside and applaud them for another day filled with conservation education.

If you are in the park, head over to the Maharajah Jungle Trek to see the Asian Tigers found there.  Try going right before closing, as that's when they usually are up for a meal and ready to move off exhibit for the night.  Before, you can go to Rafiki's Planet Watch for some more tiger related activities.

To celebrate, we have added a few more of our favorite tiger photos to our Facebook Page.  If you are not following us there, we invite you to do so.  It's where we post many pics like these.

Tigers are under constant attack for survival, and if we sit back and ignore the situation they will lose that fight.  This is why I love DAK and these programs so much.  It's a theme park that can also help raise awareness of these kinds of issues.  What other park can say that?
