Watching Along the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail

This is a brief clip of the okapi at the Pangani Forest Trail. These animals are the closest living relatives of the giraffe. And, despite the zebra like coloration, you can see that these guys look a bit like the giraffe. Like their cousins, they use their long tongues to pull leaves off trees in the canopy of their jungle home.

This exhibits is visible from the nearby Kilimanjaro Safari, as well. And the okapi shares its exhibit with yellow backed duikers.
