Disney's Animal Kingdom News Round-Up for September 10, 2014: Paint and Seats

Tree of Life Getting a Makeover: According to the website Orlando Theme Park News, the Tree of Life is getting something of a facelift before It’s Tough to be a Bug reopens at the end of the month. A new coat of paint and a thorough cleaning is always a good idea for such photogenic structure. After all, the most beautiful park icon in the world needs to look as neat and pretty as possible!

Construction Begins on Rivers of Light “Seating Areas”:  Over the last few weeks, since construction walls began going up along the banks of the water between Dinoland and Asia, people have been speculating over what kind of viewing area will be created for the Rivers of Light show. Most of us have assumed this would be a standing room only area, but we are now hearing that a “seating area” of some kind will also be included in these plans. (On a side note, these new walls are not just your normal drab painted eyesores. More on that soon.)
