So Let's Talk a little walk around Animal Kingdom....with Nick

As you are certainly aware, there is a lot of stuff going on at the Animal Kingdom these days. And fortunately for us, good friend of the blog Nick Cucerzan (@NCucerzan) strolled around the park today and sent out some pictures of the park's construction. He was kind enough to let me use them here to give our readers a little update on what's going on.

First, construction is proceeding near Expedition Everest. As you can see from these pictures, the seating area for Rivers of Light is well under way. It appears that the foundation is being laid for this viewing area. Again, I am assuming at this point that this will be special seating for a either Fast Pass Plus guests or some type of hard ticket event.

Moving to Discovery Island to the right side of the Flame Tree BBQ, there are walls. Near here will be a coffee kiosk (the one near the front is now gone). From what we hear, this kiosk should be ready by the end of the year.

The new tamarin exhibit is open and ready - almost. The primates are not yet out but hopefully soon. Once some additional trees are placed they will be brought into the exhibit.

There are still plenty of walls around Discovery Island. Unlike the walls at other parks, at least these are kind of fun.

However, Its Tough to be a Bug is now open and some netting around the tree is gone. That's not to say all of it is. However, obviously the refurb of the area was in some part used to make walking under the Tree safer.

Pangani is also under a heavy refurbishment. You need to walk in and out through the exit where the gorillas are.

The path is stopped right where you can view the meerkats and Grevy's zebra so much of the trail is off view.

Again, thanks to Nick Cucerzan. You should definitely follow him on Twitter @NCucerzan for lots of good Disney talk.
