Our Apologies to the Frogs

The last time we showed a photo of a frog, it was of one being devoured by a deadly snake. (Sometimes she definitely puts the "real" in a Aruna's Real Africa!) So we thought for today we would should show the frog some much needed love and pass along some info regarding a special event coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom.

As part of their series of animal-themed days, the first such day for 2015 is going to be called "Spring Forward" Day. While coinciding with the beginning of Daylight Savings time, DAK will celebrate the hopping amphibians, toads and frogs in early March.
"Guests visiting Rafiki’s Planet Watch on March 5 will have the opportunity to learn about various amphibians and participate in fun, amphibian related activities! Hop on by to examine amphibian adaptations, try leaping like a frog, listen to and identify frog calls, and make toad abodes (special homes for frogs and toads) for their backyards."
So if you are in the park that day, head over to Rafiki's and check it out. While nothing spectacular, these events are still great fun. To learn more about it, click over to the Disney Parks Blog to get all of the details and some fun frog facts.
